Is the pool open during the whole year?

The pool is closed every sunday. Besisdes that, during schoolweeks, there are different working hours as not to interfere with the swimming lessons (which are given between 16.00 and 19.00). During school holidays the pool is open from monday until sunday from 10.00 to 20.30. On Christmas day, and Boxing day the pool is closed.

Can I Leave my children without supervision?

There is no supervision in the pool. It is not advised to leave small children alone in the pool. Parents and caretakers are responsible for the behaviour of the child.

How big is the shop?

The shop fills the primairy needs of life in, however it is not a supermarket. Only basic products such as coffee, thee, soup etc. are available. For dairy and fresh produce you can visit one of the many supermarkets nearby in the town of Wierden. These are so near Hoge Hexel that it would not be possible to keep a supermarket-stock of our own.

In which weeks is there animation?

During the dutch holidays “meivakantie”, six weeks in July & August and during fall holiday.

Is it possible to rent bicycles?

There are bicycles for rental available. These are mens/womens/children and are directly available. It is also possible to rent different types of bikes and accessories such as mountainbikes, tandems etc on order. Notify us of your wishes during the booking process and we’ll make sure to grant the wishes. It is also possible to do this on your own by clicking this link. They will take care of the order and make sure it will be there when you arrive.
